KARL WHITE is a freelance writer based in London. He has contributed to, and co-edited a volume on Samuel Beckett. He has also written school textbooks on Shakespeare and has been a reviewer for The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Business Post and Philosophy Now. At present he has no children.

RAYMOND DEANE is a composer, pianist, novelist, essayist and political activist (a founding member and former chairperson of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign). He is a member of Aosdána.

Born in County Sligo, BRIAN T MAHONY has spent many years working as a journalist and commentator on culture and the arts around the world, especially in Latin America, Africa, and North America. His writings have been published internationally, and he has written several poetry collections and a screenplay, Death and Leisure.

 

DAVE LORDAN grew up in West Cork and now lives in County Wicklow. He was taught to read from The Old Testament by his grandmother at the age of three. Beatific visions were a regular occurrence in childhood and adolescence. He studied poetry under Brendan Kennelly at the Oscar Wilde Centre, Trinity. He has won the Kavanagh Award, the Strong Award, and the Chair of Ireland Bursary for his poetry, which is published by Salmon. Wurmimapfel recently published his First Book of Frags. Dave essays and reviews for The Stinging Fly, Southword, RTE Arena etc. He is a popular reader and workshop leader at festivals.

KEVIN J. NOLAN, Dublin born, holds an honours degree in Philosophy from The Milltown Institute. He also studied Fine Art in the National College of Art and Design. His writing has appeared in Bard, Skylight 47 (forthcoming), The Shine Newsletter, Studies, Decanto Magazine / Anthology (England), The Jack Kerouac Family Association News Letter, and Yareah Magazine (Italy), among other journals. He is also a singer/composer and will be releasing his debut album entitled 'Fredrick & The Golden Dawn' early next year with the Eire Supply label. His music has been played on RTE Radio and notably he has recorded a duet with Julie Feeney.
